In 1977 I fell in love with the movie STAR WARS. It must of been the part of me that wanted to be a princess or maybe it was the beginning of my future geekdom.
I believe I actually saw the movie at least 7 times in the theater. I even had a cool light blue sweatshirt with the image of R2 D2 and C3PO on it. I wore it out- literally.
A few months ago I intruduced my son to the saga as it is know today. We started where I had started….which is now episode IV.
We moved on to V and VI and for this past Christmas I purchased the first three of the series. I had never seen I-II or III but have now taken the time to watch them.
I really enjoyed it. I love the fact that in all reality this is a LOVE story.
My son enjoys the movies but my DAUGHTER has really gotten into it.
She has watched all six episodes and often asks to watch them again.
She has turned into my little STAR WARS girl…it must be the princess/geekdom thing for her too. Poor thing is just like me!

Now if I could only find her one of those cool light blue sweatshirts.
