This is Mustache-aka Fatty; Fatboy. Our 13 year old VERY FAT cat. (weighing in at approx 25 pounds)

He does NOT like having his photo taken-can you tell?

Each year the place where I work sponsors a pumpkin patch event. We get a hay ride out to the picking fields. There is a corn field maze. They feed us hot dogs, chips, a cookie and offer apple cider, juice, water and yummy HOT chocolate.

Last year it was perfect night and we wore sweatshirts and the hot chocolate warmed are cold fingers.

THIS year….it was close to 85 degrees and we melted in the wind blocked corn maze and dripped sweat on our pumpkins.

Once the bugs attacked it was time to go. We managed to escape with one pumpkin suitable for carving each and some cute baby pumpkins, gourds and colored corn for decorating. We all took showers when we got home and then dabbed our bug bites with anti-itch medicine. Today its supposed to be hot again and tomorrow’s high is 57 degrees….Wisconsin…UGH

Tomorrow is DE LURKING Day.

I am waiting….holding my breath…turning blue….

My oldest son has been accepted to The University of Advanced Technology…

He wants to get his Degree in Game Design and Development.  The school is in TEMPE ARIZONA!!!!

I am so excited and terrified all at the same time.  He needs funding. I have no funding to offer.  This opportunity is for him to have a career and a job that he will LOVE.  To have a life and experiences that are NOT possible here in Wisconsin.

If all goes as planned he will start school in January.  My baby…my first born….ARIZONA!

gone…out of reach…but yet doing something that I will be SO proud of, I may burst.

I will do everything in my power to get him there.  Anybody need on organ?
